How do you follow Ayrton Senna? That was the enormous task that faced Rubens Barrichello when his compatriot and mentor was killed in the 1994 San Marino GP.
The entire Brazilian nation looked to Barrichello, then only 22, to take over Senna's mantle and he initially wilted under the incredible burden.
But since moving to Ferrari in 2000, 'Rubinho' has found his niche offering top-notch support to Michael Schumacher and - team orders permitting - even occasionally beating him.

1992 Graduates to the Formula 3000 championship with Il Barone Rampante team. Finishes third overall.
1993 Joins Jordan Formula 1 team. Rookie of the year, scoring two points.
1994 Sixth overall in championship with 19 points. Scores first podium at Aida and secures maiden pole position in damp conditions at Spa.
1995 Still with Jordan, finishes 11th overall with 11 points, including second place in Canada.
1996 In his final year with Jordan, finishes eighth in championship with 14 points.
1997 Joins newly-formed Stewart team and scores their first points with second place at Monaco.
1998 Twelfth overall in championship with four points.
1999 Best season yet, scoring 21 points to finish seventh in the championship. Stewart take their maiden win at the Nurburgring - but it is Johnny Herbert who takes the chequered flag with Rubens third
2000 Joins Ferrari, replacing Eddie Irvine as number two to Michael Schumacher. Provides solid support as the German becomes Ferrari's first world champ in 21 years and takes brilliant maiden win at Hockenheim.
2001 Third overall in the championship with 56 points.
2002 Runner-up in the championship as Ferrari dominate, winning 15 of 17 races. Barrichello takes four victories as the team scores as many points as everyone else combined.
2003 Fourth overall in championship with two wins at Silverstone and Suzuka.
